Our library (Lynch Library) offers 25,000 volumes, as well as manuals, magazines, journals and audio visual aids.
The library is linked to an Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) accessible via library.carlilecollege.ac.ke
The library utilises the KOHA Integrated Library System (ILS). Internet access is available for research and in particular through KLISC (Kenya Library & Information Services Consortium). This is a global network of libraries that enable the sharing of online resources (journals & e-books).
Carlile College is a member of CALA (Christian Association of Librarians in Africa) which permits the borrowing of books from partner Christian colleges and universities libraries through an inter library loan policy scheme.
Electronic resources are a very important tool in academic work. Carlile College subscribes to a number of online databases, listed below. Click on either the image or the title of the database to reach each database.
